About AZ Tooling

AZ Tooling is a free online file converter with one radical property: your files are never uploaded anywhere. Every conversion (video, audio, image, PDF, documents, fonts, CAD meshes) runs inside your web browser using WebAssembly.

Traditional converters make you upload files to their servers, queue behind other users, and trust them with your data. AZ Tooling inverts that model: the conversion engine comes to you. That means no file-size tricks, no daily limits, no watermarks, no accounts, and nothing to leak, sell or breach.

How it works

When you open a tool, your browser downloads a small conversion engine compiled to WebAssembly (for video and audio that's a full FFmpeg build). Dropped files are read straight from your disk into the engine, converted, and handed back to you as a download. The network is never involved after page load.

Honest limitations

• Maximum file size depends on your device's free memory.
• Very long video conversions can be slow. They run on your hardware.
• Faithful Office-to-PDF layout conversion isn't possible in a browser; we say so instead of faking it.
• DRM-protected files are not supported.
